The still lives Riejanne paints, are characterised by a colourful yet minimalist appearance. The subjects are presented in all their simplicity. Serene, pure and at the same time powerful. 
Riejanne started painting professionally in 2011, after a career in marketing and management in the corporate world.

She attended several masterclasses, a.o. with Master painter Cornelis Lemair, Joost Doornik (Klassieke Academie Groningen), George Popescu (West Dean College of Arts - Chichester UK).
